supper club

real food kitchen’s supper club is a lovely, ‘part restaurant, part dinner-party’ experience which takes place in our upstairs dining room overlooking the Dee estuary and Welsh hills. If you enjoy good food, are looking to catch up with old friends, make new ones or simply treat yourself in comfortable and relaxed surroundings, then this is the perfect opportunity. Guests will sit around a candle-lit table for 12 and enjoy a fantastic meal prepared and served by our resident foodies Katie, Yvonne, Jill and Jenny using only the best fresh, seasonal and local ingredients! Beginning at 7pm, the evening will start with a glass of fizz and the various food courses will be accompanied by carefully selected wine and drinks. Each supper club will have a particular focus food-wise, and whilst there is no pre-published menu, we would ask that you notify us of any specific dietary needs upon booking.

cookery and craft workshops

Our cookery workshops are fun, informative and highly sociable events. Packed full of  recipe ideas, practical demonstrations and tasting opportunities, they culminate in a lovely sit-down meal for all to enjoy.

We also offer a selection of more craft-based workshops covering a range of skills and interests.

Our workshops or gift vouchers also make an excellent present for the foodies in your life!

‘MEDITERRANEAN LIVING’

It has long been recognised that the diet of people living in Mediterranean countries, with its emphasis on olive oil, nuts and fresh produce, is a driving force behind the region’s historically low rates of heart disease. However, it’s also about the lifestyle – the social interaction, the right kind of exercise and of course the sunlight! The question is, how can we adapt the benefits of Mediterranean living to our every day lives in the UK? Using demonstrations and participatory activities, we will show you how to cook a Mediterranean feast that will help you to do just that!

‘TASTY TAPAS MAKING WORKSHOP’

The origin of tapas is the subject of much debate. Some say that the first ‘tapa’ was simply a hunk of bread placed over a glass to keep the flies out! Wherever the truth lies, tapas are fantastically tasty.
